There are different tribes in Iran that the biggest tribe is Qashqaee who live in Fars province.
They are Turk people and speak both Turkish and Persian.
They breed sheep, goat and camel and for grazing them, they migrate two times in year.
They live in South of Fars province in Autumn and Winter and stay in North of Fars in Spring and Summer. Normally for finding the suitable grass, they move in April and October.
The distance between Summer and Winter resorts, for each group is different, because of this, the movement duration long from 1 week to 8 weeks.
They wake up early morning and move up to noon and then stop for grazing the herd.
Nowadays, some families carry their loads and sheep by truck and some of them migrate by walk.
When they reach to Summering place, they hold on the black tents, start to produce Cheese, youghert, oil, … .
We invite you to see their simple life.
Day 1: Early morning driving from shiraz to Sepidan (2 hours driving) visiting the Qashqaee nomads and camp near their tents.
Day 2: Morning driving to Margoon waterfall (1½ hours) , have lunch and driving back to Shiraz.
1- All transfers according to program (by car)
2- Full boarding (3 meals a day) on the way and while trekking
